Visit Blenheim Palace and its stunning gardens & grounds with direct transport or day tour options from Bath with Celtic Horizons

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace

Set in the heart of Oxfordshire, Blenheim Palace, and it's substantial gardens and parklands, is the home to the Duke of Marlborough, the birth place and ancestral family home of Winston Churchill and, as one of the UK's top attractions, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Built in the eighteenth century in the English Baroque style, the sprawling house offers a stunning visual experience of magnficent rooms, architecture and interior furnishings which can be topped off by a visit to the 2000 acres of formal and pleasure gardens and surrounding parkland which was styled by Capability Brown.

You may find yourself wanting to spend the day at Blenheim but for those with tighter schedules you may wish to combine a visit to Blenheim (allow 2 hours for a tour of the house and short tours of the gardens) with a visit to the City of Oxford or a scenic journey through the Cotswolds for a day out tour from the Bath area.
